Where the numbers come from

• Official ratings: FIDE's published rating lists.
• Live changes: results from official broadcasts on Lichess, and results entered by hand from the organisers' sites, each labelled on the page. We never show moves.
• Rating changes follow FIDE's rating regulations. How often we match FIDE's own numbers is on the Accuracy page.
• Birth dates for ages: Wikidata (CC0), where it has an exact date; otherwise we show the birth year.
• Online ratings: Lichess and Chess.com, credited on those lists.
• Flags: flag-icons (MIT licence).
